Cory grew up on a Registered Cattle Ranch in Eureka, Montana. He loved the ranch life and playing sports during his school years. He received a football scholarship from Montana State University where he played tailback as a member of the 1984 National Championship Team, and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, Production & Management Option.

Cory began his career by returning to the ranching industry and managed several absentee-owned cattle ranches in Big Timber, Red Lodge, and Greenough before settling in Wise River. Currently he runs a registered & commercial Black Angus operation with his wife Kari and their two children. Cory joined Bramlette and Company in 2004, bringing invaluable knowledge in the selection and viability of Montana working cattle ranches.
