If you enjoy boating and swimming, check out Clark Canyon Reservoir. Located twenty miles south of Dillon, the reservoir has 17 miles of shoreline and offers boat ramps, picnic shelters and a marina, making it great for boating, fishing and swimming.
Nearby Dillon, is Maverick Mountain. With 2,000 vertical feet of uncrowded trails, you'll enjoy sking and snowboarding at this ski area. Lift tickets are still reasonable at this ski area. A slightly further drive will take you to the world class skiing at Big Sky Mountain Resort or Bridger Bowl.
Dillon is no less attractive to hunters than to skiers. The valleys and mountains of Dillon area teem with numerous animal species including elk, mule, antelope, and deer. Generations of hunters have expressed their admiration of the natural affluence of the region and did their best to preserve the diversity of the wildlife treasures that can be encountered here.
